“Ronald Reagan expressed distrust of government while paradoxically improving its image and standing. Obama has placed boundless faith in government while trust in public institutions has declined to all-time lows. It is the legacy of Obama's liberalism: expanding the state while helping discredit the political process.”

HR, I voted for Obama. But I gotta tell you. I've basically gone from liking the fellow to the point where he now makes me queasy. Between the divisive rhetoric (the whole "fair share" thing, especially) and the fact that he's apparently willing to say just about anything in order to get elected, there really isn't any "there" there anymore (the last straw for me was when he gave his unions buddies a waiver from Obamacare and then stuck it to those Catholic affiliated self-insured businesses).
ReplyDeleteBy last straw I can only hope that means you won't cast another vote for him, but I suspect you're still not there.
ReplyDeleteThe good news - I'm not voting for Obama. The bad news - I'm probably voting for Johnson.
DeleteWill mentioned: "when he gave his unions buddies a waiver from Obamacare "
ReplyDeleteAny idea what kind of message this sends? It tells everyone that Obamacare is BAD, a punishment. Because if you are one of Obama's buddies, you won't get hit with it.
As for your "Bad news", I don't see it as bad for Conservatives or Republicans at all if your vote will take place in a deep blue state.
